  • Why might that matter?  Besides the fact the stainless will never rust, these harder pins will withstand the additional pressures of heavier hammer springs and/or heavy usage without wearing and eventually leaning back in the hammer seat... a fairly common occurrence in such modified guns that prevents cocking (just sometimes at first).
