this is exactly what I wanted in this barrel! I've had it sitting
around for about 2 years, unable to use it this entire time.
I gave it a few test shots this afternoon and it shoots much better
than my old .177 Crosman barrel.

Hello David: Just getting back to you re. the custom boss
metal transfer ports which I purchased for both the
1377 and the 2240. Noticed about a 10-15% increase in
velocity overall for the 1377 for each set of pumps
and for the 2240, perhaps a 10% increase in velocity
with no real loss in shot count. Thanks very much...J

I have one question what is the pin that sticks out
on the back... underneath of the grip frame below
the power adjuster knob? Did you get my other order
for some bolt handles that I purchased thru the website?
Can that pin be removed? I am thinking of building a
custom stock for this gun , Maximus needs a little wood…

The weather finally cooperated enough today to run the chrony tests on my 1377
and 1322 backpacker. I didn't get the chrony until after I had installed the 21"barrels
and steel breeches so I'm using factory specs as my base (which seem to be a little high,
in my limited experience. ) I thought you might like the results for your web site.
The 1377 results:
Factory specs 600 fps (10 pumps)
with 21 inch barrel 655 fps
with muzzle brake 659 fps
with new RP valve 654 fps (10 pumps)
" 691 fps (17 pumps)
" 717 fps (20 pumps)
The 1322 results:
Factory specs 460 fps (10 pumps)
with 21 inch barrel 515 fps
with muzzle brake 518 fps
with new RP valve 508 fps (10 pumps)
" 563 fps (17 pumps)
" 577 fps (20 pumps)
I thought it was interesting that both gun's performance increases were exactly the same ,
117 fps over factory specs. The test was conducted in Spring , Texas, elevation 121 ft.
temperature of 85 degrees and Humidity at 87 percent (yes, Houston really is
unfit for human life). The pellets used were Crosman Pemier Hollowpoints.
The other parts, the new trigger, sear, and sear spring adjuster, installed easily and have
completely changed the "feel" of both guns. The new roller triggers are a joy to use.
Bravo.

and I am most impressed. Function, accuracy, and looks of the pistol are all perfect.
I had more than several requirements and specifications for my custom pistol, and
Mr. Grimes carried them all out to the letter. His work is like that of a Swiss watchmaker,
and it's nice to find an 'Old World' master craftsman in today's modern world.
Like many, I initially thought of using Crosman's online Custom Shop; but decided that I
wanted my pistol to be made by one expert(Mr. Grimes) as opposed to coming off an
assembly line made by people who have no vested interest in the outcome. Mr. Grimes
responded rapidly to my many emails and phone calls during the planning stages, emailed
me photos of developments along the way, made great suggestions, offered his advice,
and completed my pistol the same day he received my payment by mail. His custom
barrel work, trigger work, et. al. is A+ stuff. He has an extensive Ebay store that offers all
sorts of air pistol parts, additions, and attachments. I cannot express enough how happy
I am with this finished product. You will be, too.

crown I’ve ever seen on an air rifle, and I have a few (RWS, HW, Air Arms).
And thank you for the transfer port and cleaning pellets. The latter
came in handy to clean out the bore after J&B bore paste polishing.
Attached is a pic of a string of 8 shots from 12 meters, can’t argue with results.
The high impact point was the first shot on a new CO2 cart, the rest stacked slightly below.

Thanks for all the parts. This gun is super accurate.
Can put ten shots in a bullseye the size of a dime
at 14 yds and deadly on squirrels so far out to 25 yds.

I just got my order yesterday in the mail (flat top
piston and valve, good neighbor airgun shusher
thingy and roll pin replacer) and just wanted to say
thanks. I have only installed the shusher for now (on
my 1322) but I have to say I am impressed. I didn't
expect much of a difference in noise since the pellets
aren't going very fast, but all I hear when I fire is the
valve noise and the pellet smacking the board I was
shooting at. Thanks again for the great service!
